Last year I finished a bedside rug for DH. You can read about it here. I had put enough of the cotton warp onto my loom to make a second rug for myself (also in Boundweave, the same structure and pattern as DH’s).
DH’s is brown, turquoise and cream. Mine is brown, red and cream. It looks very nice next to the bed, and the 2 rugs match each other nicely, not that you can see them simultaneously though!
There was enough warp left over to weave a Moroccan sling bag for myself. I made it in brown, red and turquoise. I made an inkle band for the sling strap in the same 3 colours, and lined the strap and the bag with a blue/turquoise piece of hand-printed batik fabric that I had bought in Malaysia. I think it will be a very handy travel bag!
